Heya.... its been a looong week!
My computer got stuffed... word to the wise, do NOT, and I repeat do NOT try and load panther onto an old ibook with only 64ram. Berrrry berrry bad idea!!! My poor lil ibook graphite clam is all brokened now. So badly it only comes up with the default firmware page...eeeep! Anyone who has any ideas of how I can get my stuff off it feel free to gimme a yell, and yes I have tried firewiring onto it, it don't work. And no I don't want to take the hard disk out, you know how hard that is? I had to replace it about two months ago and it took 3hrs to get all the screws out then I had to remember where all the lil suckers went to go back in... and the hard disk is the absolutely lowest thing down in those computers so you have to take everything out to get to them!
Sooooo.. I went and bought a new ibook g4 40MB hard disk 640ram DVD/burner computer. Very very niiiiice, but very veeeery expensive. Was hoping there would be some discount from Macworld, but no such luck!
The locks have been changed at my place, so we wont have any more visitors without us knowing, which is kind of reassuring kind of sad.*sighs*
I go back on Wednesday, then I have one week till Scott comes ta visit in boring ol my place (what AM I gonna do with him??). Eheee... we'll have fun I am sure, be able to explore my home town with him which should be interesting!
I think they should hold Macworld here next year so I can come... what'cha reckon?
ok ok I am gonna get going, you must be sick of hearing me blather by now and my puter battery is about to die...
