I had freaked out... for all those nights, and no one cares, so i am the dumb one. The birth that was so scary on my part, that turned out fine, was all but forgotten. The doctor that was a bitch to me was just her normal angry self this morning.
I have done 3 shifts out of 6... i have two late earlies this week. I work from 2:30pm-11pm then come home.. get less than 6hrs sleep and go back to work in the morning by 7am-3:30pm. feeling kinda zonked now and its only day 3.
Anyways, maternity was quiet for my first two days so i went to the surgical ward 2 days ago and the medical ward yesterday. Surgical was juuuust great, busy busy a couple of unwell peoples, and one woman and her family who were... well.. "very demanding". Medical was even better with lil old demented peoples and mainly eldery people who could not get about independantly. Today got more interesting, I was on maternity and they decided I could do a labour! (eeeeeep after the last one).
So i went in and looked after a lady and it all went well, (phew) though the girls may think i am insane cause I speak through most of my decisions... its not that I don't know what I am doing most of the time, it is more that I need to confirm stuff in my own mind and if I say it out loud it makes more sense. Oh well.. it was ok and I got to leave early.
K, I love your mail, no one makes me smile like you do, and its kinda nice to know that I am not the only one who misses her parents and is feeling homesick (Even if I am supposedly at home). Love you and miss you, hopefully things will improve for both of us midyear.
Anyways... need dinner, and need some panadol for the toe which is still protesting at working 8.5hrs a day *sighs*
