All my friends that are only semi insane or are almost normal don't read this!
I think I must attract people who are messed up. First my friend who tried to suicide in my house over Christmas, now another friends husband.
This started last year...in about February, my friend got pregnant for the 3rd time and her hubby decided he couldn't cope and was going to leave her (I think I blogged about it at the time). This was her third baby, so she would have 3 under 3yrs. He got very depressed and some stuff happened that I didn't know about, but he left her and stayed with another woman for a while. He went on medication shortly after that and had an episode at one stage where he tried to slit his wrists. In this time I had let him stay at my place, but I was told by a mutual friend that I shouldn't be letting him stay anymore because he was having some psychotic thoughts.
So I had thought he was getting better and all and then my friend calls me Friday night and tells me he is in hospital cause he was having thoughts of stabbing women with things. So she asks if I can maybe babysit her kids Sunday, I say yeah ok. I was really tired cause it was just before my 4th nightshift in a row and ya know how those went. I went out with a few friends on Saturday which made me extra tired cause I didn't get much sleep during the day and then got home around 1am, so Sunday rolled around and I was still tired out. Babysat all afternoon and half the night and finally headed home last night after we had arranged that I would help her take the 3 kids in to see her hubby in the psych unit. Had about 6hrs sleep then got up and went to it today, we got there only to find out that they were releasing her hubby to go home.
Hate to say it but not happy with him coming home. He was agitated this morning so they doped him up with valium before they sent him home. That worries me, he has 3 small kids and a wife at home who don't need an aggravated father and husband around. The hospital should have sorted him out properly before they sent him home. *sighs* How many times have I said that before?
Anyways, gonna lie down for a while.
