The the day before new years day.. guess that makes it new years eve day lol. Nothing all that exciting to report, we are staying home for New Years cause we like each others company! There is an epic battle on iron chef tonight with Jamie Oliver and Mario Batali which looks like it will be very interesting as I like the way both of them cook, they have interesting stuff which usually looks and apparently tastes very very good!
Am very into some of the shows on food network over here, they make some really good stuff, i have taken a few of the recipes and actually made it. There is one show I love with Paula Deen - she does Southern cooking and puts a stick of butter (which is like 1/4 of a a block of butter for those Aussies) in every single thing she makes. She makes me laugh and the stuff she cooks, even though its usually really bad for you, looks so good that I love watching her. She is like an Aunty with a cooky sense of humor that appeals to me, have a look at her on foodnetwork.com some of the recipes there are great too - Emeril Legassi makes great food too! We made a super sized chocolate chip cookie on a pizza tray from one of the recipes there... it was soooooo goooooood! It had bittersweet choc chips (we used milk hehe) and white choc chips and all sorts of naughty stuff.
Anyways, going to go have a shower.. seeing as though its lunch time hehehe and then we are going out for lunch.. woooweeee! Cause its New Years and its nice to do those things while we have a chance and Mike is not at work!
