I have my official results and I have definately passed my NCLEX hooray! I have been to a few job interviews and I took one close by that I am hoping i will enjoy a heap, that is if my paperwork goes through on time for me to start when i want to...*sighs*. They have to do a background check before they can employ me and apparently it can take a couple of weeks and I wrote down the wrong birthday (yes I wrote 04/21/2008) I think I would have to be the miracle woman to have been born in 2008 and be registered as a nurse and all. So they just restarted it last week and the orientation starts on the 16th so i am hoping it goes through on time.
Other than that hrmm... Mike had surgery on his elbow (a tennis elbow release) which had been playing up for years a couple of weeks ago and that is now on the mend thankfully. Nearly drove us both insane with him in a half cast and things poking him where they were not sposed to.
I went out to give Gus some water 2 weeks ago or so and rolled my ankle in a hole in the garden... so cranky with myself cause I knew the thing was there and every other time I warned myself not to fall in it, so what do I do? Gus thought it was wonderful and tried to lay on me to get himself patted, he figured I must have sat down to play with him, durned if it wasn't very difficult to get him off and limp back up the stairs and inside. Anyways, its on the mend, still swells up if I sit at the puter too long so i have taped it up to prevent that happening when I am playing games and stuff.
Other news.... hrm... Rob and his wife are back in Australia and Rob is looking for a job... crossing fingers and toes he gets one very soon. Mom and dad move back to Aus permanently in December this year, they will be living in NSW I believe and I think they are both somewhat looking forward to it. Much as they don't want to close the door on their Thailand missions I think it is well and truly time for them to be heading home. Dad worries me with his health stuff going on and I know mom misses Australia and her family and friends a lot.
Well thats all my interesting news for today(or not interesting as you could put it)... always good to have a catchup :P
