I stole a music player off Sharmaines blog and put one on mine mwhahahahaaaaa.
Okay so here is the update in short...
Homesick.. as always, go through phases of being more or less homesick, gets worse at Christmas cause its very different here than in Aus. Not necessarily bad different, jut miss my family different. I miss people, places and foods. Really would like to introduce Mike to Tassie and show him around where I grew up and let him meet folks down there. Miss Tassie a bit, the snow on Mt Wellie, catching buses into town and getting food there...*sighs* Miss the water a lot, always lived within 10-15mins drive of it, now am 3hrs away.
On to the next subject, work. I have now been working for 6 weeks, am slowly but surely getting the hang of things, still very nervous, still scared stiff of putting IV's in although I feel a fair bit better about them these days, very scared of being out on my own. Next week is it... am out on my own then, they will have an extra staff member for me to call on if I need for my first 2 days then my third I will really be on my own, hope it goes okay! Can't really talk about it apart from that cause of privacy stuff and I will be deleting a lot of my old posts cause of the same thing. Was great to come debrief here but I can't leave the old posts up in good conscience.
Family. mom and dad move back to Aus in December, I can officially say that now... and say hooray. I am worried about dads health with his diabetes and pituitary thing and I am just not sure he is being looked after right over there. Rob and Nuch have settled in Sydney and are in their own place, praying really hard Rob gets a good job really soon, he is feeling very discouraged at the moment, he seems to be getting close to getting it but someone always is just that tiny bit better. Gram is getting dementia I believe, so also worried about her. Feel horribly bad for Aunty Eunice looking after her all the time and not being able to see her grandchild grow up. Hope we can get something in the works so Gram can get looked after more effectively.
We are really happy that I am working now as it means the strain on our finances is finally off and we can not only start to save but we can afford some dinners out and things without having to worry about going into debt before the next paycheck hooray!

And we would love to meet Mike too :) Glad your enjoying the photos of here and hope the homesickness subsides, its a horrible feeling isn't it, it just doesn't go away. HUGS!!
I want you to come home too....miss you heaps!!! I regually see one of your cousins at the library where I am working casually....I can't remember his first name....my bad.....surname Horton I think...brain is mushy lol. anyway glad to see an update.
