Well it has really been a while, and though pretty much no one reads this I figured I would write anyways.
Work is...err...work. It was kind of nice for a while there, but has been changing a lot the last few months. Sometimes I feel as though I fit, sometimes I hate it with a passion. I missed one swallow screen on a patient (I did actually do it, it just didn't get charted) and the lady who does the stroke alert meetings every month, mentioned it EVERy month for the last 3... I asked Lori to ask her not to mention it again after the last time, went up to lori and told her either I am gonna burst into tears or stab the woman if she says it once more. There has began to be more clicks at night as well. One of the girls seems to have decided she doesn't like me, don't know why but she seems to have some sort of issue with me and I am so non confrontational that I don't want to even ask her about it. Everyone else is in the middle of a divorce or trying to get pregnant...lol odd mix eh?
I think the girl that doesn't like me seems to be having an affair with one of our other staff members who is in the middle of a divorce, if they aren't they are acting like they are and neither of them are good situations. I gotta say I feel bad for all the other potential divorcees, well cept for our MOA cause she actually seems rather happy to have booted her husbands butt to the door lol.
Then the other half who are trying to get pregnant have tabs kept on them all the time, someone is always asking about it. Some of them are very willing to talk about everything about it...its just kinda weird. But it will be nice to see some preggers woman in the ER again, the last few have had their babies, only one is pregnant at the moment.
My mom and dad are doing okay. Dad still worries me but they seem to be looking after themselves at least. Gram is getting more and more demented, seems to be either happening quickly or I am just now being told how bad she really is. Don't think that dad or Uncle R really realised how far downhill she has gone in the last year or years.
Went and got my name changed on my passport, 4-5hrs drive each way to do that, but no way was I sending official documents through the mail system here. Want to be able to go home to Aus when I need to, just feel the need to be prepared. All my immigration stuff comes back up mid year this year which has me all worried, but we shall see how things go.
Anyways, am gonna go now
